Zwirecki Named to ABCA/Rawlings Northeast All-Region Second Team

Canisius catcher Thomas Zwirecki has been named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings Division I All-Northeast Region Second Team for the 2026 season. Named a MAAC All-First Team recipient in May, Zwirecki is the first Golden Griffin to earn the honor since pitcher Matt Duffy was recognized in 2023. Zwirecki was also just one of three recipients out of the Metro Conference, as Matt DeShiro (Merrimack) earned first team honors and Ben Alekson (Fairfield) was also named to the second team.
