Breigan earns Second Team All-America, Monie finishes 19th

EUGENE, Ore. – On the second day of action at the 2026 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships, the Roadrunners’ women were in competition on Thursday at historic Hayward Field. Junior Ida Breigan notched her fifth career All-America honor at 15th in the long jump, while senior Daisy Monie was 19th in the shot put and garnered All-America Honorable Mention. Opening women’s competition, the Fredrikstad, Norway junior Breigan added a fifth All-America accolade after going 6.34m (20-9.75) on her opening long jump attempt, placing her 15th overall and earning Second Team All-America honors.
