Chelulei Earns First Team All-America Honors, Finishes Seventh in the 5,000 Meters at NCAA Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Eastern Kentucky University's Edna Chelulei finished seventh in the women's 5,000 meters at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday evening at Hayward Field. The sophomore from Uasin Gishu County, Kenya ran an outdoor personal-best time of 15:18.21 to take seventh and earn first team All-America honors. Chelulei is now a three-time All-American during her EKU career.
