Mariners’ Naylor, Munoz exit vs. Nationals with injuries

Injury issues continue to pile up for the Seattle Mariners, who lost two key contributors in Sunday's loss to the Washington Nationals. First baseman Josh Naylor was forced to exit in the sixth inning after fouling a pitch off his right shin, and right-handed reliever Andrés Muñoz left in the eighth inning with what the team called lower back tightness. Naylor ended up finishing his at-bat, flying out to centre field, but was replaced defensively by Patrick Wisdom in the next half-inning.
