Perry alum Taylor Lovell wins NCAA 3,000m steeplechase title

Taylor Lovell is on top, at last. Lovell, a Gilbert Perry High alum who is now a junior at BYU, won the women's title in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the NCAA Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon, on June 13, running 9:21.03. It is the first national title for Lovell, who had finished in ninth place in the past two seasons.
