Women’s tennis team lands five on Southland All-Academic Team

FRISCO, Texas -- Five members of the University of the Incarnate Word women's tennis team have been selected to the 2026 Southland Conference's All-Academic team. Cardinal honorees were Alexandra Paule Jacqueline Mille , Luciana Paez Hernandez , Iné Lamprecht, Amelie Montalvo and Amelia Alejandra Perez Corona . To qualify, a student-athlete must have a grade-point average of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale through the semester prior to the season starting, completed at least one full semester in the season the nomination took place and competed in at least 50 percent of competition during the most recent season.
