Bettiol Signs Professional Contract in Italy

AMHERST, Mass. – Recent UMass men's basketball graduate Leonardo Bettiol has signed a contract in his home country of Italy, with A.S. Pistoia Basket 2000, as announced this week. A native of Roncade, Italy, Bettiol was named a second team All-MAC honoree in his only season in the Maroon and White in 2025-26. Also an NABC Second Team All-District member, Bettiol led the Minutemen in scoring (18.1) and rebounding (7.8), marks that were good for fourth and third in the MAC, respectively.
