Three Field Hockey Mountaineers Earn Academic All-District Honors

BOONE, N.C. — App State Field Hockey players Claire Grenis, Sarah Perkins and Calista Schwartz were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team, the association announced Tuesday. To qualify for the award, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and play in 90 percent of their team's games or start in 66 percent of them.
