ROS LEADS CANADA TO SILVER AT U18 WOMEN’S AMERICUP

Serving as head coach for the U18 Canadian women’s national team this summer, University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s basketball head coach Dianna Ros led Team Canada to a silver medal performance this past week at the FIBA U18 Women’s AmeriCup in Irapuato, Mexico. Guiding the U18 national team at the showcase event, Canada went undefeated during the group phase of the tournament earning wins over Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and Venezuela. The 3-0 record placed Canada into the semifinals where they battled to a 64-52 victory over Argentina to secure one of the top two steps on the podium.…
