Queener and Staff Named IWLCA Coaching Staff of the Year

CLAREMONT, Calif. — The Pomona-Pitzer women’s lacrosse coaching staff was named IWLCA West Region Coaching Staff of the Year, announced Wednesday. Led by head coach Sarah Queener and assistants Sylvia Queener and Brianf Eisenberg, the Sagehens won their fifth straight SCIAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships in 2026. Pomona-Pitzer cruised to a 17-2 overall record, including a perfect 10-0 in conference play. The Sagehens reached the NCAA Tournament Round of 16 for the second consecutive season, defeating Sixth Street Rival CMS in the Second Round.
