Blue Jays acquire Luis Urias from Diamondbacks for cash
The Toronto Blue Jays have added another infielder. The Arizona Diamondbacks have traded Luis Urias to the Blue Jays in exchange for cash, Sportsnet confirmed on Saturday. The Athletic's Mitch Bannon was first to report the news. Urias is an eight-year MLB veteran who hasn't been able to crack the Diamondbacks' big-league roster this season. He's previously played for the San Diego Padres, Milwaukee Brewers, Boston Red Sox, Seattle Mariners and the Athletics.
