Brighton has 5 players on inaugural all-state flag football team

Brighton has placed five players on the inaugural Michigan all-state flag football team. The team was selected by the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association in tandem with the Detroit Free Press. There were 20 first-team selections from among 70 nominees from 25 teams. Senior quarterback Emma Adamczyk and junior safety/wide receiver Rory Chiles made the first team for Brighton. Adamczyk completed 73% of her passes, going 166-for-226 for 2,051 yards, 34 touchdowns, 18 conversions and only four interceptions. She was chosen Brighton’s Offensive Most Valuable Player.
