Georgia Southern Welcomes Tia Peoples as New Throws Coach

STATESBORO – Georgia Southern Track & Field/Cross Country head coach David Neville announced the addition of Tia Peoples as the program’s throws coach on July 1, 2026. Peoples joins the Eagles after establishing herself as one of Florida’s premier throws coaches, bringing extensive experience in athlete development, championship success and recruiting. Throughout her coaching career, she has guided numerous state champions, nationally ranked throwers and NCAA scholarship recipients while building a reputation for developing athletes at every level of competition.
