New turf project complete at Charles D. Lindberg Stadium

ROCK ISLAND — Augustana has completed the installation of a new FieldTurf playing surface at Charles D. Lindberg Stadium, marking the latest investment in the student-athlete experience at the Knowlton Outdoor Athletic Complex. The project replaces the previous FieldTurf surface installed in 2012 when the Knowlton Outdoor Athletic Complex opened. Installed at a cost of approximately $600,000, the new surface provides the Vikings with an updated competition field ahead of the 2026 season.
