Men’s Fencing Breaks School Record With Ten All-Academic Honorees

DETROIT — The 2025-26 Wayne State University men’s fencing team crushed its previous school record with 10 GLIAC All-Academic honorees, seven of which earned a spot on the Excellence Team. This is the seventh year the GLIAC has recognized student-athletes from non-GLIAC sports with Academic All-GLIAC accolades. Criteria states that student-athlete must be an active member on their respective sport roster at the end of the season, and not a true freshman or a first-year transfer student.
