Meet the new Wolves: Kap Laila

Laila comes to Western Oregon from Colorado Mesa where he appeared in 26 games – including nine starts – for the NCAA D-II Mavericks. He averaged 1.6 points and 2.2 boards in 12.3 minutes per game. Prior to CMU, Laila was instrumental in helping lead Lower Columbia College to the 2024-25 NWAC Championship where he was an NABC NWAC All-American, the West Region Most Valuable Player, selected to the All-Defensive Team and to the NWA All-Tournament Second Team.
