Winegar Wins at Wimbledon
DURHAM, N.C. – Former Duke men’s tennis doubles All-America Theo Winegar won his first-round match Friday at Wimbledon. Winegar, who broke into the ATP doubles top 100 for the first time in May, has reached No. 79. Playing at the All England Lawn Tennis Club with doubles partner Jean-Julien Rojer, Winegar earned a 6-3, 6-4 triumph against Yuki Bhambri and Michael Venus.
