Predators Sign Mavrik Bourque To Six-Year Deal
The Predators have signed restricted free agent center Mavrik Bourque to a six-year deal worth $5.5MM annually, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports. Nashville’s cap space drops to $8.25MM once the signing is finalized, per PuckPedia. Bourque cashes in on his first long-term deal three days after Nashville paid a second and third-round pick to acquire his signing rights, plus defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin from the cap-strapped Stars.
