Duke Men’s Golf Adds Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year Carson Looney

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke men’s golf head coach Bob Heintz has announced the addition of transfer Carson Looney to the Blue Devils’ program. Looney joins Duke after an award-winning freshman campaign at VCU in which he earned Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Year honors and All-Atlantic 10 recognition. A native of Bethesda, Maryland, Looney led VCU with a 72.21 stroke average during the 2025-26 season while competing in 11 of the Rams’ 12 tournaments. He posted 20 rounds of par or better in 33 rounds, recorded four top-10 finishes and five top-25 showings, including a pair of medalist honors.…
