Football Appears in Preseason Poll Top 10

The University of Indianapolis football team garnered a lofty position in the 2026 Lindy’s Sports Division II preseason poll. The Greyhounds were tabbed No. 8 in the nation, per Lindy’s annual college football yearbook. UIndy is one of four Super Region 3 schools to appear in the top 10. In addition to a number of incoming transfers and a talented recruiting class , the Greyhounds welcome back 11 starters and eight all-conference performers from last year’s GLVC championship team .
