Oilers Re-Sign Owen Michaels

Despite re-signing on a two-year deal, Michaels has yet to play a game with the Oilers organization. Michaels, 24, signed with Edmonton toward the end of last season as a collegiate free agent. The move was mostly economical, essentially allowing the Oilers to retain his rights, although he wouldn’t play for the team.
