Pegues Selected To Ripken League All-Star Team

Bethesda, Md. — University of Lynchburg baseball player Gabriel Pegues was selected to the Ripken League All-Star Team as a representative of the Silver Spring Thunderbolts. This summer, Pegues has been crushing the competition in the Cal Ripken Sr. Collegiate Baseball League (CRSCBL). The league is an amateur summer wooden bat baseball coalition comprised of eight teams in the DMV area, named in honor of the legendary Orioles manager, Cal Ripken Sr. The Ripken League All-Star Team is composed of 10 pitchers and 20 hitters across the entire league that have performed exceptionally throughout the summer.
