Six Chanticleers Named to Athlon Sports Preseason All-Sun Belt Team

CONWAY, S.C. – Six Coastal Carolina football players were named to the Athlon Sports Preseason All-Sun Belt Team, the publication announced. Linebacker Se’Veon McDowell headlined the Chanticleers’ selections, earning second-team honors. Coastal Carolina placed three players on the third team with running back Dominic Knicely, cornerback Ja’Marion Wayne, and punter Emile Sebafundi each receiving recognition. Wide receiver Robby Washington and linebacker Tray Brown rounded out the Chanticleers’ honorees with fourth-team selections.
