Winegar’s Wimbledon Run Ends
DURHAM, N.C. – Former Duke men’s tennis doubles All-America Theo Winegar had his Wimbledon run end Monday third round setback. Winegar and doubles partner Jean-Julien Rojer fell in three sets to No. 6 seed Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic. Playing at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, Winegar and Rojer dropped the match, 7-6 (7-5), 4-6, 3-6. After leading 4-1 in the opening set, Arevalo and Pavic stormed back to force a 4-4 tie.
