Jack Krahel of the Thunder men’s soccer team is named the 2025-26 CCIW Men’s Student-Athlete of the Year

Wheaton, Ill. – Jack Krahel , goalkeeper for the Thunder men’s soccer team in 2025, was selected as the 2025-26 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Student-Athlete of the Year as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon. Krahel’s selection marks the fifth time that a Wheaton athlete receives the award. He joins 2018-19 award winner Leif Van Grinsven , 2019-20 winner Corey Kennedy , 2023-24 honoree Anthony Fitzgerald , and 2024-25 recipient Giovanni Weeks to make up Wheaton’s five honorees in the award’s 18 years.
