Javelinas announce hiring of Sam Casey as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach

Kingsville – Texas A&M-Kingsville announced Monday the hiring of Sam Casey as the newest assistant coach for the Javelina Men’s Basketball program. Casey joins the Javelinas from Northwestern Oklahoma State University where he assumed the Head Coach position midway through the season, and helped develop several All-Conference selections in the Great American Conference. He also previously coached at the University of the Incarnate Word as an Assistant Coach contributing to an 11-game turnaround taking the team from 8 wins in the previous year to 19 wins in the 2024-25 season.
