Men’s Lacrosse Posts Best GPA in Division 1, Six Named USILA Scholar All-Americans

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men’s lacrosse team posted the best GPA in the nation while earning the USILA Team Academic Award; six Bears were named Scholar All-Americans by the USILA, the organization announced. Charlie Cave, Jeremy Hopsicker, Ben Scandone, Samari Staten, Trey Taylor, and Marcus Wertheim were named Scholar All-Americans. Brown’s six Scholar All-Americans are tied for the most in the nation with Siena and Stony Brook, the Bears had the most in the Ivy League.
