Spista Named Scholar All-American

7/7/2026 12:11:00 PM THROGGS NECK, NY – Nick Spista (White Plains, NY) of the Maritime College men’s lacrosse team has been chosen as a Scholar All-American by the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA). He becomes the first Privateer to receive this honor since Kieran Hendry in 2024. Spista was named Second Team All-Skyline as a short-stick midfielder after helping Maritime win the Skyline Conference championship and make its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2022.
