Turgambekov Signs with NIU Men’s Tennis

Men’s Tennis | July 7 DeKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men’s tennis program and head coach René Vidal have announced the signing of Ibragim Turgambekov for the 2026-27 season. Turgambekov joins NIU from Rider University, where the incoming senior posted a career-high 12 doubles victories last season. He helped Rider win the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tournament and reach its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance. Turgambekov earned All-MAAC Third Team Doubles honors last season.
