Dozen Roadrunners reel in Athlon Sports preseason honors

SAN ANTONIO — UTSA has placed 12 players on the Athlon Sports Preseason All-American Conference Team. Owen McCown was named the first-team quarterback, while wide receiver David Amador II, running back Will Henderson III and punter Caile Hogan also landed on the first team. AJ Wilson made the second team at wide receiver, while offensive lineman Darrell Jones, defensive lineman Tai Leonard and linebacker Owen Pewee earned spots on the third team.
