All-Star Ranger Suarez (groin strain) placed on 15-day IL

The Boston Red Sox today placed left-handed pitcher Ranger Suarez on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to July 6) with a left groin strain. To fill his spot, Boston recalled infielder Brett Harris from Triple-A Worcester. Harris will wear number 25. Come to Fenway in July to see the Red Sox face the Rays, Orioles & Blue Jays Suarez, 30, has posted a 3.15 ERA (32 ER/91.1 IP) with a 1.16 WHIP, .232 opponent batting average (80-for-345), and 97 strikeouts in 17 starts this season for Boston.
