Sheridan Named First Team Academic All-America by College Sports Communicators

Richmond, Va. – Recent University of Richmond graduate, men’s lacrosse team captain, and All-American Joe Sheridan has been named a First Team Academic All-American by College Sports Communicators (CSC). One of the nation’s highest honors for student-athletes, the Academic All-America program recognizes individuals for their outstanding achievements both in the classroom and in competition. Sheridan, an All-American midfielder and Richmond’s Atlantic 10 postgraduate scholarship recipient, graduated in May with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology while maintaining a 3.9 GPA.
