Adam Agresti Selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the 11th Round of 2026 MLB Draft

QUEENS. N.Y. – The Los Angeles Angels selected St. John’s catcher Adam Agresti in the 11th round (No. 319 overall) of the 2026 MLB Draft on Sunday. Agresti becomes the fourth Red Storm catcher to be selected in the MLB Draft since 2015. He is also the first Johnnie to be picked in the 11th round during that stretch. The redshirt sophomore served as a cornerstone of the St. John’s lineup throughout the year, becoming just the second player in program history to belt 20 home runs in a single season.
