Ryan Piech Selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the Seventh Round of the MLB Draft

PHILADELPHIA – Xavier right-handed pitcher Ryan Piech was selected in the seventh round in the 2026 MLB Draft by the Baltimore Orioles, going at No. 200 overall. Piech, originally from Aurora, Ohio and a graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School, led Xavier’s qualified pitchers with a 3.18 ERA through 76.1 innings pitched in 14 starts this season.
