Tanner Mally Selected by San Francisco Giants in MLB Draft
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan junior center fielder Tanner Mally has been selected in the 17th round, 508th overall, by the San Francisco Giants in the 2026 Major League Baseball Draft. Mally becomes the 12th Bronco to be selected in the MLB Draft during the tenure of head coach Billy Gernon , and the 116th all-time selection from WMU. Mally is the first Western Michigan player drafted by the Giants since Pat Misch in 2003.
