Brill, Janac To Compete At U23 World Rowing Championships
BOSTON – Rising sophomore Maximilian Brill (Germany) and senior Krystof Janac (Czechia) of the Northeastern men’s rowing team will represent their countries at the upcoming U23 World Rowing Championships, which will be held July 22-26 in Duisburg, Germany. Brill is slated to be the stroke seat in Germany’s four, while Janac will sit in the two seat of Czechia’s eight. Both student-athletes competed in Northeastern’s first varsity during the 2026 campaign, with Janac finishing the season in the stroke seat and Brill in the two seat.
