Burke Signs Extension Through 2028-29 Season

STATESBORO – Georgia Southern Director of Athletics Chris Davis has announced the signing of head women’s golf coach Mimi Burke to a three-year contract extension, which will keep her in Statesboro through 2028-29. Entering her sixth season at the helm of the Eagle women’s golf program, Burke has guided Georgia Southern to the program’s first national championship appearance in 2025, collected the school’s first Sun Belt Conference title in 2022, appeared in two regionals, claimed 14 tournament championships, and coached eight different individual tournament champions.
