Five Hoyas Named WGCA All-American Scholars

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women’s golf team had five student-athletes recognized as Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars, as announced by the association today. Of the five Hoyas, a quartet are repeat honorees while a GU freshman earns the accolade for the first time in her career. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team was a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50. To earn the honor, a student-athlete must have played in 50% of the institution’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
