Four Women’s Golfers Named to WGCA All-American Scholar Team

HOUSTON – Four University of Houston Women’s Golfers were named All-American Scholars by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association on Monday. Seniors Moa Svedenskiöld, Natalie Saint Germain and Alexa Saldaña and sophomore Emilia Väistö were recognized for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. All four student-athletes have posted cumulative grade-point averages of 3.50 or higher during their academic careers. Svedenskiöld (integrated studies), Saint Germain (marketing) and Saldaña (finance) each graduated this spring with their bachelor’s degrees while Väisto (integrated studies) returns for her junior season under new Carolyn Macow Leatherwood Head Coach Rachel Pollock in 2026-27.
