Josh Skowronski Signs Free Agent Deal with San Diego Padres

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Winthrop University outfielder Josh Skowronski signed a free agent contract with the San Diego Padres. Skowronski suited up with the Eagles for two seasons after joining following one season at the University of Kentucky. In 2026, Skowronski played in 57 games for Winthrop and hit .275 with a .428 on-base percentage and .471 slugging percentage.
