Kegley Collects VaSID State Rookie of the Year and First Team Honors

ASHLAND, Va. – The Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) have released their 2026 College Division All-State Softball Teams. Sierra Kegley (Mechanicsville, Va./Atlee) took home the state rookie of the year award and also added a first-team nod. The Mechanicsville native ended the regular season ranked fourth in the conference in strikeouts (93), fourth in wins (14), fifth in runs allowed (36), sixth in earned-run average (1.80) and sixth in opponents’ batting average (.215).
