NIU Women’s Tennis Receives ITA Academic Honors

Women’s Tennis | July 13 DeKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University women’s tennis team earned both team and individual academic honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, the organization announced today. The Huskies received All-Academic Team recognition and five earned Scholar-Athlete honors. Jenna Horne , Rebeca Garcia Miralles , Nataly Ninova , Malika Kabdesh and Isabella Righi were all named ITA Scholar-Athletes. Righi earned her fourth straight honor while Horne and Ninova earned their second nomination. NIU received All-Academic Team honors with a 3.524 Spring GPA, recognition the group has earned every year under head coach Eric Burns since 2020.…
