Tennis Team Earns All-Academic Team Award, Eight Players Earn Scholar-Athlete Awards

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Southeast Missouri tennis team was named to the ITA All-Academic team, the ITA announced Monday. The Redhawks combined for a 3.92 GPA in the spring semester. Along with the team honor each player was named as an ITA Scholar-Athlete. To earn the scholar-athlete award you must have a 3.5 GPA along with being listed on the institutional eligibility form In 2026, 1,501 Division I Women’s student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and 231 Women’s tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
