Weaver Drafted by Athletics in 2026 MLB Draft

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Duke right-handed pitcher Aidan Weaver came off the board in the eighth round of the 2026 MLB Draft, courtesy of the Athletics. Weaver was the 231st overall selection in the 20-round draft and became the fifth Blue Devil to be drafted inside the first 10 rounds of the draft across the last two years.
