Aragon Crowned NCAA Statistical Champion

By: Patrick Murphy INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – With the 2026 softball season concluded and national statistics finalized, for the second time in the last three seasons the Colorado School of Mines boasts an NCAA Statistical Champion as senior outfielder Kendall Aragon led Division II in triples this spring. The Thornton native registered 12 triples this spring to break both the Mines single-season and career records for triples, and became the first Oredigger in program history to register double-digit triples in a campaign.
