Chapman Adds Deshawn Montgomery to Women’s Basketball Coaching Staff

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo Head Women’s Basketball Coach Olivia Chapman has announced the hiring of Deshawn Montgomery as the Falcons’ Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach ahead of the 2026-27 season. Montgomery joins the Montevallo coaching staff after spending the last two years as a graduate assistant at Jacksonville State, where he assisted with player skill development, game film analysis, opponent scouting reports and recruiting while helping manage team operations.
