ITA Academic Awards Feature 18 Wildcats Across Men’s and Women’s Teams

TEMPE, Ariz. — The Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s 2026 academic awards featured a lot of Wildcats as both Villanova programs were named All-Academic Teams and 18 ‘Cats picked up Scholar-Athlete honors. Villanova men’s tennis earned their fifth straight and seventh overall All-Academic Team accolade, which is given to programs with a GPA above 3.2 for the academic year. For the fourth straight year, the women’s team was also named an All-Academic Team and had a program-high 10 members selected as Scholar-Athletes.
