Three Gorillas Earn Academic All-America Men’s Track Honors

AUSTIN, Texas – Three members of the Pittsburg State University men’s cross country/track & field squad garnered College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America accolades today (July 14). Redshirt junior distance runner Dylan Sprecker and junior sprinter Braylon Thompson were selected to the first-team Academic All-America squad, while redshirt junior distance runner Nathan Hinrichs was tabbed to the second-team Academic All-America list. Hinrichs, a New Bloomfield, Mo., native, owns a 4.00 GPA as an electronics engineering technology major.
