WTEN: Cowgirls Earn ITA Academic Honor

GILBERT, ARIZ.—The 2026 Southland Conference regular season champion McNeese women’s tennis has earned the 2026 Division I ITA All-Academic team distinction, the organization announced Monday. The honor is the ninth time a Cowgirl team earns the honor in program history including the last six years. Within the sport of tennis, student-athletes continue to exceed expectations in the classroom and on the court. In 2026, 1,501 Division I Women’s student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and 231 Women’s tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
