Two Gorillas Earn Academic All-America Women’s Track Accolades

AUSTIN, Texas – Two members of the Pittsburg State University women’s track & field squad garnered College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America accolades today (July 15). Redshirt senior pole vaulter Isabelle Peters and redshirt senior multi event athlete Blakelee Winn both were selected to the first-team Academic All-America squad. Peters becomes a two-time Academic All-America selection after earning third-team recognition in 2025. The Lindsborg, Kan., native captured the NCAA Division II indoor national championship in the pole vault.
